SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Spinal Support New Zealand, previously known as TASC, was founded in 1991 by a group of high level spinal injured people and became a registered charity in 2008 (CC23064). Spinal Support New Zealand has built up a vast network of volunteers who offer moral support, advice and information to assist people with spinal cord impairment while in the Auckland Spinal Rehabilitation Unit (ASRU) and when they are discharged and living within the community. We cover a demographical area from New Plymouth to Gisborne, across to the Eastern Bay of Plenty, and as far North as Cape Reinga.
We provide the following support to our members, their whanãu and carers:
- Peer support at the ASRU and following discharge into the community
- Information packs to ensure that all members are well informed of their rights and the services
- Assistance during their transition from hospital into the community
- Advocating on behalf of
- Free art classes
- Community gatherings
- A disability van for outings in the community; and to hire following discharge
- Holding Show-Off days, which provides opportunities to assess equipment and activities
Spinal Support New Zealand offers the following sponsorship packages and is available to organisations who wish to connect with our members and aid a community we support and serve. We have detailed three options of sponsorship below and outline the benefits we offer in return for the sponsorship:
Gold Package $10,000.00
- Your logo on the main banner of our website’s home page
- Advert on our Facebook page
- Advertising on sponsorship boards at all events
- A full list of sponsors placed inside our van
- A banner on the front page of our quarterly ‘The Supporter’ magazine and a full page advert inside, which is posted out to over 1100 members
- A video of up to two minutes, uploaded onto our website’s homepage, covering the services you provide which can be changed quarterly
- Spinal Support New Zealand is in the process of setting up podcast sessions and Sponsors will also be included as advertisers during these sessions
- Invitation to attend 8 gatherings, that take place at venues from the top of the North Island to as far south as Gisborne. (last year’s gatherings attracted 170 wheelchair users
Silver Package $5,000.00
- Your logo on the main banner of our website’s home page
- Advert on sponsorship boards at all events
- A full list of sponsors placed inside our van
- A ½ page advertisement in our quarterly ‘The Supporter’ magazine which is posted out to over 1100 members.
- Invitation to attend 4 gatherings
- Your logo on the side of our website’s home page
- A full list of sponsors placed inside our van
- ¼ page advertisement in our quarterly ‘The Supporter’ magazine which is posted out to over 1100 members.
- Invitation to attend 2 gatherings
Bronze Package $2,500.00
To ensure organisations receive better exposure, Spinal Support limits the number of sponsor packages they offer.
